Dig For Eggs uses a straight shovel shop. Fourteen shovels run from the free Basic Shovel at 1x Power to the Zero Shovel at 30x Power and $200Qa. Power on the card is a multiplier: published notes treat 1x as the base rate and 30x as clearing the same ground thirty times more effectively. A higher multiplier also reaches the deeper dirt where rarer eggs and loot show up.
The number on your HUD is a different Power. Screens show HUD values such as 1, 16, 40, and 7.9K while the equipped card still says x1 or x1.5. When a layer is too hard, the game says: "Slow digging — train Power or upgrade your shovel to dig faster." Training and the shovel card are both real. Buying a shovel does not fill in the HUD number for you, and a big HUD number does not change the multiplier printed on the card.
Shop order and listed prices
Open SHOP on the left. The board is titled SHOVELS, with the line "You're ready! Dig deeper for rarer animals." Cards seen in full are Basic (Starter, x1), Grey (Common, x1.5), and Green (Uncommon, x2). A banner reads NEW SHOVEL EQUIPPED when the swap lands. Hatch Luck, Animal Income, and Rebirth are also on that screen; their prices were not readable.
Grey has no published cash price. The equipped card did not show one either. Do not guess it.
Green is listed at $3k and the card also shows a second cost of 20 with no currency name. Later shovels below are the cash figures from the published ladder. If a card shows an extra number, pay that too.
| Shovel | Listed cash | Power | Shop label seen |

Each shovel page under Shovels repeats the same cash and Power so you can open one card without scrolling this table.
What the cash jumps actually buy
This comparison uses only the listed cash prices. It assumes the usual scale: k = 1,000, M = 1,000,000, B = 1,000,000,000, T = 1,000,000,000,000, and Qa = 1,000,000,000,000,000. If the game ever uses a different suffix, redo the multiples. Grey is left out because it has no price. Green is the first listed price, so it has no previous cash multiple.
| Step | Power added | Cash vs previous listed price |
|---|---|---|
| Green, $3k, 2x | +1.0 from Basic | First listed price |
| Blue, $75k, 2.5x | +0.5 | 25 times Green |
| Purple, $2M, 3x | +0.5 | about 27 times Blue |
| Golden, $60M, 3.5x | +0.5 | 30 times Purple |
| Red, $2B, 4x | +0.5 | about 33 times Golden |
| Galaxy, $80B, 5x | +1.0 | 40 times Red |
| Secret, $4T, 7x | +2.0 | 50 times Galaxy |
| Eternal, $200T, 10x | +3.0 | 50 times Secret |
| Divine, $4Qa, 14x | +4.0 | 20 times Eternal |
| Godly, $15Qa, 20x | +6.0 | 3.75 times Divine |
| Transcendent, $55Qa, 25x | +5.0 | about 3.67 times Godly |
| Zero, $200Qa, 30x | +5.0 | about 3.64 times Transcendent |
From Green through Eternal, you mostly pay 25 to 50 times more cash for a fraction of a Power point, then for +2 or +3. From Godly onward the listed price rises by less than four times while Power jumps by 5 or 6. Godly is the single biggest Power step, +6, and it is also one of the gentler cash multiples.
That pattern is not permission to skip the middle. The shop is a ladder, and the cash for a late shovel comes from pets you hatch with whatever shovel you can already use. Buy the next card you can pay for. Use the payback form only after you type your own extra cash per cycle; it does not know your pets.
The Power board sorts these same shovels by the multiplier alone. Zero sits at the top because 30x is the highest published Power, not because it is the best purchase on an empty account.
