Digging

Dig the site, read a slow layer, and know which eggs were named

How the dig site, Surface, and the slow-digging warning work, plus the egg and coin names that appeared in published frames.

The dig is a click-and-hold in dirt. The opening prompt on the plot says "Dig up your egg" and "CLICK & HOLD", and it highlights a padlock labeled Common. The top bar then splits your time between PLOT, SELL, and DIG SITE. Underground, DIG SITE is replaced by SURFACE so you can climb out.

Where the better finds are

Go to DIG SITE and dig down. Deeper dirt is where the rarer eggs and loot are described as appearing. One named layer is Gilded Sands. In that frame a Rare Slate Egg was highlighted, the dig bar read 46.7K / 46.7K, and the popup said +1 Ancient Coin. Those figures belong to that frame. They are not a published rule that every Slate Egg takes 46.7K, and they are not a drop rate.

Loot slots along the bottom of that dig screen showed stack counts. The item names in the slots were not readable, so this page does not invent them.

When the bar stops moving

The same Gilded Sands frame printed: "Slow digging — train Power or upgrade your shovel to dig faster."

Do those in either order, based on what you can pay for:

  1. Open SHOP and equip the best shovel you already own. The multiplier on the card is separate from the Power number on the HUD.
  2. If the next shovel's cash price is still out of reach, use the Dig Faster control. It is its own button on the left of the plot, not a hidden mode of the shovel.
  3. Leave with SURFACE if you are standing on a full warning and an empty bar. Sell loot, let pets tick, and come back when the shovel or the HUD Power has actually changed.

You can see the shovel change worked when the equipped card changes and the dirt breaks faster. A leaderboard column labeled POWER is on the shop screen and shows very large scores. That column is not a price list.

Names that showed up on screen

These are labels from published frames, not a complete index. Hatch rewards and drop rates were not on screen.

Name Where it appeared What is known
Common padlock Opening dig prompt Tutorial target. Contents not shown.
Slate Egg Gilded Sands, rarity Rare Highlighted dig target. One bar read 46.7K / 46.7K.
Ancient Coin Gilded Sands popup +1 granted. No shop use is shown.
Godly egg Plot countdown A timer, for example 17m 16s. Same word as the Godly Shovel, not the same object.
Transcendent egg Plot countdown A timer that read 0m in one frame, so that egg was ready.
Zero egg Plot countdown A timer, for example 8m 46s. Same word as the Zero Shovel, not the same object.

Place eggs on the plot. The shovel that dug them up does not hatch them.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I do in the first minute?

Follow the plot prompt: click and hold to dig up the egg, which can be a Common padlock. Put eggs on the plot so pets can earn cash, sell loot from the top bar, and equip the best shovel the shop will give you.

Which shovel is the strongest?

The Zero Shovel has the highest published Power, 30x, at a listed price of $200Qa. Until you can pay for it, equip the highest multiplier you already own. The HUD Power number is a separate stat from that multiplier.

Why does digging say it is slow?

The dig screen tells you to train Power or upgrade your shovel. Open the shop for a higher multiplier, or use the Dig Faster control if the next shovel is still too expensive. Standing on the warning does not fill the bar.

Do pets earn cash while I am offline?

Yes. The game description says you keep earning cash while offline, and the HUD prints Cash Earns Offline. Exact cash per pet is not published.
